Monogen got his musical basic education through intensive listening of music for years. Later on he played the guitar in a rockband. Troubles with his health made him leave the band and to pursue his own ideas. He discovered electronic sound creation as a new possibility to make music on his own and to realise these ideas. With the Nordlead and the Atari, later on also with a MPC 2000 he created his first tracks and looked intensively into the hardware. Through software new possibilities of sound creation and combination were added. At the SFT in Wuppertal he began an apprenticeship as a sound engineer. Today he lives and works in Cologne.   design by kaba
